Episode 20 The Transfer Student vs Sakura (by Kira) {back}

This is the epi for all you Meilin fans! Here's where we finally get to really meet her. It starts out with birds flying then shifts to Sakura's house. She's up and getting ready for school! She's very happy because she can go with Toya again and see YUKI!!!! There are some flashback scenes from the previous epi. She grabs her stuff and as she's leaving Kero gives her Li's shirt. Toya waits for her, before they leave her dad promises to make them a feast for dinner that night! On they way to school she chats with Yuki. Toya throws in a few insults and then the conversation shifts to a mysterious girl who been beating up people in Peguin Park at night. Then it's school and Sakura goes inside and greets her friends! Tomoyo is happy that Sakura never got sick yesterday and then they wonder where Li is. Finally he comes in and he looks sick. Sakura gives back his shirt and thanks him and asks if he's alright. Then Mr. Terada comes in and says there's a new student. Mei-mei is introduced, poor Li looks like he wants to die! She looks upset and hugs him. Then she's formally introduced to the class. When Sakura turns around to talk to LI about his cousin, Mei-mei runs and yells at her. At lunch Sakura and her friends sit there and talk about poor Li and Mei-mei. Yamazaki and Li caome over and they chat then Mei-mei shows up and drags him off. Mei-mei is loud and they think she and Li are having fun. Throughout this epi Mei-mei gives Sakura the eveil eye. During gym the two have a competition about who's the better gymnist. Poor Li is mortified! Then it's night at Sakura's and it's dinner time! Sakura is happy about the feast and doesn't realize Yuki is there so she acts a bit silly until she sees him. They all sit and eat and talk about the mystery girl who's been beating people up. Fujitaka warns Toya to be careful as he's a 3rd degree black belt. So later on guess who's at the park? That's right Sakura and Tomoyo and Kero. They are soon joined by Mei-mei who's determined to get a Clow Card for Li. She dismisses Kero as nothing which earns her the name of Brat from him! Then the girl shows up and she fights with Meilin. Tomoyo by the way thinks Fight's outfit is the best! Anyways Fight fights with Mei-mei and when she's almost hurt Li shows up and saves her. Then they fight about her being there. It seems she stole his lasin board and has no magic and could get hurt very badly. Mei-mei gets upset and goes after Fight again after it hurts Li. Meanwhile Sakura is standing trying to figure out how to seal it. Then she uses Power and beats up Fight by conking her on the head, which knocks her out long enough for Sakura to seal her! This saved Mei-mei which doesn't make her happy at all! So Mei-mei yells at Sakura and tells her Li should have gotten that card! Poor Li is by now in a death grip hug from Mei-mei! Tomoyo and Kero comment on all the silliness! Leave it to Kero is about the battle costume Sakura wore.
