Tomoyo Daidouji, also known as Madison Taylor in the USA and Tiffanie in France.

Family:
We do not know anything about her father.
Her mother Sonomi is a business woman who owns and runs a successful toy factory, Sonomi is ambitious and strong willed but dotes on her daughter and is also very fond of Sakura, her deceased best friend Nadeshiko's daughter. She is always surrounded by women bodyguards who are sometimes dispatched to serve Tomoyo.

Hobbies:
Designing and creating clothes,
Filming Sakura and then watching the videos on her huge television,
Reading (big books),
Helping Sakura in her card catching,
Singing: she sings solos in a choir,
Shopping for presents.

Character:
Very caring understanding and gentle. She can read between the lines and sense people's feelings. She is not only bright but wise.
Selfless: "If the one she loves is happy, she will be happy too, even if she is not with that person"
She is the best when it comes to pushing Sakura up and out of her shyness. She also has the uncanny ability to sense when Sakura will need a particular costume and create it within hours.

Relationships
Sakura is Tomoyo's best friend and Tomoyo dotes upon Sakura and would give the world to her.
Tomoyo admires Sakura for her innocence, her bravery and that sheer kindness that could melt anyone's heart.
Their relationship becomes more reciprocal as the series goes on, as Sakura learns more about her friend and admires her more and more.
By the end of the series, Tomoyo has learned to make new friends and her life sems to revolve less around Sakura whilst being closer friends than ever. The adventures they shared together tested their friendship and trust and brought out the best in eachother.

Meilin does not get on with Tomoyo at first as she is too busy rivalling with Sakura, but from episode 60 where Tomoyo pledges friendship to Meilin, they become firm friends. Tomoyo comforts Meiling in her hour of need and becomes her accomplice in setting the stage for Sakura and Syaoran to express their feelings for eachother.

Tomoyo likes Syaoran, if he loves Sakura he must have taste!
She has also seen him grow in maturity and show that he has heart as well as skills.
She thinks he is the right guy for her best friend and so makes sure their love story happens.
She likes to tease Syaoran in her own way to help him come to terms with his feelings.
