Season Three clarification:
From what I've understood, Tsubasa the anime season 3 is cancelled because Clamp terminated their contract with Beetrain production company and, even if it was produced, NHK, which is a family channel that owns the airing rights to TRC and CCS would not be able to air it because season three is more adult in it's themes.
So Clamp would need to employ another animation company to produce the third season and another japanese channel would need to purchase the airing rights from NHK. I'm not sure Clamp will want to make a mismatched third season with different animators, especially given the lukewarm reception of the Tsubasa anime compared to the manga which is very popular. In anycase, Clamp is notorious for leaving projects open (unfinished) and they are faithfully continuing the manga serialisation of Tsubasa as well as multiple other projects at the moment: the lovely manga "Kobato" for example. The Tsubasa chronicle anime does not appear to be top priority... but who knows?
